Opened in 1901, the cathedral is a major focal point in Letterkenny, having come to commonly characterise the town in portraits of our landscape and skyline. Beautifully decorated as a result of efforts made by an intenational workforce of craftsmen, with its magnificent collection of stained glass windows and not modest finery, it’s a real feather in the town’s cap.
